A very trim silhouette. Designed for very lean or smaller body types with narrow shoulders, small chest and a flat stomach. This is a form fitting shirt.

Contemporary

Wider at the chest and more generous in the waist than our Tailored Fit. Designed for medium-plus (think dad bod) to bigger builds, or men who prefer more room. Narrower in the chest, waist, and sleeve than our most generous Classic Fit.

 

Classic

A fuller cut provides ease in the chest, arms and waist while still providing a flattering profile. Designed for those who prefer a more traditional fit.

How to Measure

Find a shirt that fits your body well and get ready to measure

01. Neck Size

Measure body, not shirt. 

Measure the circumference of your neck with two fingers between your neck and the measuring tape for a comfortable fit. Make sure that the angle of the measuring tape follows the direction a collar would naturally sit on your neck and falls under the Adam's apple. 

02. Sleeve Length

With your shirt still buttoned, flip it over so it faces down. Start by measuring from the center of the neck at the base of the collar seam. From that point, extend the measuring tape along the shoulder seam, then down the sleeve all the way to the end of the cuff. This is your sleeve length measurement. No need to add for shrinkage - we've done that for you. If you are between sizes, go with the longer of your possible measurements.

03. Shirt Chest

Make sure your shirt is buttoned and lay it flat. Measure from the armhole at the side seam across to the other side. Multiply that number by 2 to get the shirt chest measurement.

04. Shirt Waist

With your shirt laid flat, measure across the side seam of the the slimmest part of the shirt (which should be about halfway between the armhole and the hem). Multiply that number by 2 to get the shirt waist measurement.

05. Front Body Length

With your shirt facing up and laid flat, measure down the center of the front of the shirt. Start where the collar meets the placket (where the buttons are sewn on) and measure down to the bottom seam. That length is your front body length measurement.

06. Back Length

Lay your shirt flat, facing down. Start from the center of the back of the collar, where the collar band meets the neck seam. Measure down the back center of the shirt all the way to the bottom of the hem. That measurement is your shirt back body length.

Description

It takes a special type of performance fabric to be chosen by Ledbury, and this is one of them. The Swafford is made from a unique synthetic blend of nylon and spandex that creates a shirt that’s softer, smoother, and more comfortable than anything else in the closet. The best part about this shirt is that it still looks every bit as classic and sharp as our highest quality cotton dress shirts, just with the added comfort only you will notice. The Pink Swafford features the perfect soft hue of pink and blue plaid that is great for spring and summer styling. We suggest pairing with a tan chino, loafers, and to go with or without a sport coat.

      Performance and Journey flex shirts

      I've tried just about every performance dress shirt under the sun (Twillory, State and Liberty, Mizzen & Main, J crew, All Citizens, Collar and Co. etc.) Id say Ledbury is towards the top of the list in some regards. The wrinkle resistance was definitely better than a traditional cotton dress shirt but not as good as several of the other brands above. I do have a couple of concerns regarding the quality as 4 out of 5 shirts I ordered had loose threads. Not something you expect when spending around 150/shirt. One of the shirts actually had a hole in the back. Ledbury customer service was great, though, and quickly replaced the shirt. I tried a few different collar options and was somewhat underwhelmed by the structure of the collar. After only 2 wears the ends start to roll. The collar stays are no help as its the very end of the collar point that starts to roll. Additionally, the collar stays are very, very thin and light. Again, a little disappointing but this seems to be somewhat common with performance shirts as they often lack the structure of a true cotton shirt. I do enjoy the customization of the different collars and the ability to have a French cuff. Fit was also great. Going forward I would definitely opt for the journey flex as the material is a bit more substantial and softer as well. Overall, the shirts are pretty good. I do enjoy the fabric and structured collar of the new performance shirts from Collars and Co a bit more. Stretch from the Ledbury shirts is…
