Out of Lynchburg, VA, the folks of Moore and Giles have been crafting beautiful leather products for 85 years. We sat down with Daryl, their VP of Marketing, and asked our 3 Questions.
If you weren't the VP of Marketing at Moore & Giles, what would you be doing?
Truth is I am doing what I enjoy with people I care deeply about centered around a real, honest product - leather, but if there was a drastic career shift I would have more gasoline involved. ;)
What advice would you give your 20-year-old self?
You don’t have to have a car payment. Invest early in assets and people. Use your strength to make a way for others, not yourself. Oh, and start reading…now. It will pay off.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
I’ve actually written this out - on paper, but its a little long for this form. The short version is spending whatever days I’m given here on earth making an impact - leaving a dent in world. Joy is a state. You can choose it.
